The clinton foundation took women off of about 40 advertisements around New York to call attention to gender inequality. This was for International Women's day, on March 8th. Katie Dowd, the director of digital strategy at the Clinton Foundation, said, "this is about putting a really important issue in front of people. We’re really trying to create a moment that feels meaningful.”
